Sullivan’s: IP Law Outline & Analysis

Resource of the day:  Sullivan’s IP Law Outline.

The mission of Sullivan’s IP Law Outline & Analysis™ is to provide: 1) an additional resource for finding Federal Circuit cases relevant to one’s own case or interest, and 2) a concise Analysis of the issues in the current Federal Circuit cases, as enhanced by and with citation to The Outline (“TO”) so that the reader may compare and contrast the current cases with the Court’s earlier cases addressing those same or similar issues. The ultimate goal of Sullivan’s IP Law Outline & Analysis™, aside from keeping close track of the developments and changes in patent law, is to detect and monitor patterns in the patent-related issues addressed by the Federal Circuit based on the facts of the cases. With knowledge of these developments, changes and patterns, patent applicants and litigants (as well as judges) will be able to better predict the outcome of their own cases at the PTO and before the federal courts.
