RCE Fees to get “Jacked”?

Rumor has it that the PTO is planning on jacking up Request for Continued Examination (RCE) filing fees in the coming months (one rumor I heard had it around FOUR times the current amount ($810)).  F-O-U-R.  Rumors don’t always turn out to be true, but it is something to keep in the back of your head as you advise your clients in the coming months.

I see that Matt Buchanan has a post mentioning rumors too:  Promote the Progress on  Obama continues search for Commerce Secretary, while PTO continues search for radical administrative reform.
