Recently, I blogged about the APLF’s new quarterly magazine, The Patent Lawyer. I (not a member of the APLF) recently was lucky enough to get my hands on a copy of the first issue (Spring 2004), and must say that I am really impressed.
While it doesn’t appear that the magazine is available on-line (and may only be available to APLF members), let me tease you with the inaugural issue’s feature articles:
Small Science, Big Risk — Lessons from the past for protecting nanotechnology by Chid S. Iyer
A Path of Its Own — Chicago’s McDonnell Boehnen Rewrote the Management Rules by Molly McDonough
The Power of Patent ReExams: An underused weapon in the accused infringer’s arsenal by Daniel W. McDonald
Battling Piracy in the EU — Is the EU following the US lead in cracking down on piracy? by Monique A Morneault, Amy M. Crout and Jay M. Burgett
Solutions to Successful Patent Mediation by Timothy J. Malloy
Welcome: From Patent Judge to Private Practice by Bruce H. Stoner, Jr.
If I hear anything otherwise (availability)…I’ll let you know.
UPDATE: Rumor has it that at least some of the articles WILL be available on-line!!! Perhaps by the end of the week. More details to follow….

Hey Stephen, note that the inside flap of the magazine says you can write in for a free subscription. Try it and let me know if it works.
