Un correo interesante esta mañana por Ernie el Abogado en el Acto INDUCIR. Ernie declara que él “no un admirador del Acto INDUCIR” e igualmente no es “un admirador del 'pollo entero poco’ acercamiento que algunos opositores del Acto INDUCIR toman. Ernie states that he “not a fan of the INDUCE Act” and likewise is “not a fan of the whole ‘chicken little’ approach that some opponents of the INDUCE Act are taking. When you try to get people’s attention by saying that the INDUCE Act threatens the iPod you just lose credibility.”

TiVo es tan paranoide sobre el pleito "de la industria" que la caja (la Serie más nueva 2 cajas) es cerrada con llave abajo como Fortaleza Knox, haciéndolo imposible (a menos que usted sea algún l337 h4×0r) copiar grabaciones digitales a un ordenador. TiVo es tan asustado “de la industria” que ellos no se atreven a permitir un brinco de 30 segundos en ausencia o introducir la capacidad de saltar anuncios. Un ejemplo “de la industria” cuando esto se aplica a la presión TiVo puede ser encontrado en mi correo más temprano sobre Tivo, el NFL y el MPAA. Look at TiVo. TiVo is so paranoid about suit from the “industry” that the box (the newer Series 2 boxes) are locked down like Fort Knox, making it impossible (unless you are some l337 h4×0r) to copy digital recordings to a computer. TiVo is so scared of “the industry” that they don’t dare enable a 30 second skip by default or introduce the ability to skip commercials. An example of “the industry” as it applies to TiVo pressure can be found in my earlier post about Tivo, the NFL and the MPAA.

Usted no puede decirme que "la industria" si ellos tuvieran INDUCE el poder de Acto no presionaría la Manzana (y el otro “pollo pequeñas” preocupaciones) en la modificación de sus dispositivos (en perjuicio de la facilidad de usuario del uso). Thus, I agree that iPods are not going away anytime soon…, but I think the Act, if enacted, would have some unforeseen consequences to the ease of use of many electronic devices we all use. For that reason…I say: run Chicken Little, run….
