I previously posted on a Utah company named Sponster who had beat Google to the punch, filing a patent application for the concept of e-mail plus advertisements. The Sponster application’s “publication number” is: 20030191689. Cut and paste that publication number at the Public Pair site and click on the “image file wrapper” tab to see scanned pdf copies of the prosecution history of the pending patent application.
