Boise Idea Market

I’m thrilled that Matt Homann is coming back to town (to speak at the Idaho State Bar’s Annual Meeting in Sun Valley with me). While he’s here, we’re going to put together an Idea Market! George Seybold, SEO Guru is helping me get it together.

According to Matt: “So, what is an Idea Market? Think of it as a hybrid between a think tank, focus group, and social club. Attendees bring their business challenges, questions and (of course) ideas and share them with some of the most innovative, creative and generous people in their community. Attendees participate in fun exercises designed to cram the most innovation into a two and a half hour collaborative experience.” Nice article on a previous Idea Market Matt facilitated is here.

Matt has worked with XPLANE, VizThink, McDonald’s, Alcatel-Lucent, BP, Microsoft and HP to deliver large-group exercises that leverage cooperation and creativity, and result in an outside-the-box “un”networking experience. Matthew is also a well know legal blogger, writing The [non]Billable Hour blog: http://thenonbillablehour.typepad.com.
