During my career, I have received $700 and several cases of Old Parr Scotch from my employer for having invented a combined transducer navigation system that I proved mathematically eliminated delays in position determination. It made billions of dollars for the Doppler radar and inertial navigation industry. I managed the program under Air Force sponsorship but have not profited otherwise. I am not discouraged nor bitter. I promised my deaf son (a graduate of RIT’s National Institute for the Deaf) help for his ideas about an aid to the communication handicapped. We have completed a Provisional Patent Application but am undecided on skipping that step and going directly for the full Patent application.
Because of my advanced age, I am requesting an expedited examination to further our intent to attract licensees and subcontractors mush in the fashion of my Business Mentor, Clair Farrand, inventor of the electrodynamic loud speaker. He made his fortune making the speakers for the Radio Industry. I was his Chief Project Engineer during the 60’s and 70’s after meeting him during WW 2 while on the Combined Intelligence Objectives Committe with him from 1944-45 as the youngest Engineering Intelligence Officer in G-2 12th Army Group. He fostered the philosophy of licensing and subcontracting to licensees but retaining 5% for his company to develop improvements that his company conceived. We intend to do the same, but will need much more capital than we have since we have lived an American lifestyle and put our investment in our many (4) children and not stocks.
My humble opinion is that the invention is novel, useful and a boon to the communication handicapped as well as normal communicators. I expect this to attract the communication giants. It makes sense to partner with them like Farrand did with Sarnoff, Hazeltine, d’Andrea, etc. Their staff of lawyers undoubtedly look for loopholes in the application. I have followed the advice in several fine authors especially Lo, Stim and Pressman.
I agree that inventors are easy prey for organized predators as assessed by Leyendecker about Davison and Inventhelp.
Are there any reputable Attorneys who would be willing to work on a contingency basis after signing a Disclosure agreement and assessing the invention’s chances of success? Say for 20% of the royalties and license fees.
My past employer is willing to make my family organization a subsidiary and thus produce and subcontract the Communication Aid envisioned. My family organization (Florida’s KnowledgeGates Corporation) is organized in accordance with established ISO 9000 guidelines.
I hope this blog awakens some interest from qualified patent attorneys. Let’s hear from you!

Not going to say if I did or didn’t work there. If you had the brains to find this site, you should figure it out. Then again there were those of you that actually paid money to Davison, so I may have to spell things out a bit to you. It’s a scam. Wake up. Read the Affirmative Disclosure. You have better odds shooting craps in Vegas. But go ahead knuckleheads, give ‘em 10 grand, see what happens. You think you’re the next big thing? Maybe, maybe not. But you better have the 10g’s to spare because when it doesn’t make it (and it wont) you will not, let me repeat, you WILL NOT get you cash back. Good luck.

I am truly sorry for any financial burden you might have indured. Your testimonies, have given me the answers that I needed. I dont’t have a college degree, but I believe in the old saying, “If it sounds to good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS!!!” We live in a world where you can’t trust anyone; What a shame, but I am going to trust you guys, and take your words of wisdom to heart. Thank You! AK
