IP Paralegal / Legal Assistant Training?

Question to my readers:

Are there any IP Paralegal/Legal Assistant training courses out there?

Do they exist? Who puts them on? Advice? Recommendations?

  1. We have had one person use an online training program for a “patent paralegal” certificate. It was offered through IPlegaled.com. It is a great choice if there are no live programs in your area.

  4. I’m familiar with the UW’s IP Management (certificate program)in Seattle; however, I’m not under the impression that it enables one to hit the ground running as a patent paralegal as to the granular details of preparing & handling USPTO filings, which I think is what a patent paralegal is expected to know.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.
