Advertising on blogs??

Most of you don’t know this, but a few weeks ago I created a BlogAd on my site (www.inventblog.com) for the express purpose of providing FREE ads for my clients.  I viewed it as a fun way to promote some of my clients, and perhaps tell their story in a related post.

I did check with the guys at blogads.com to make sure it was ok to create and maintain a “free” ad.  They said it would be fine to do so. 

Anyway…the ad space has been empty for a few weeks so I decided to broaden it out to include “friends” of The Invent Blog…  The first “friend” is Kevin and Evan at BlawgCast.com.  If you listen to legal podcasts, it is a great service…they provide you a way to download ALL legal podcasts WITHOUT having to enter each feed by hand into iPodder.  My comment was that I wished they’d set up an “IP Podcasts Only” feed…and they did. 

The real cool thing is the inventive way they accomplished automating this using feedburner and del.icio.us.  Amazing.  Check them out.
