Microsoft has released “Microsoft® Windows AntiSpyware (Beta).” I downloaded and installed it on my PC at home…seems to work just fine. I like how it not only removes spyware, but also runs in the background and (supposedly) prevents spyware from installing. When I installed it this morning at work…it made me crawl under my desk to retrieve my Windows Product ID (which is on a sticker on the case)…very annoying. Anyway…it looks like a good program to install. Here’s the link.
Of course, I don’t need it on my Mac laptop…Macs don’t get spyware (or so “they” tell me).
