Pretty thin news week.
Pittsburgh is a hotbed for invention promotion companies.  [Sadly, that is about all the article says of interest]  http://pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/trib/pittsburgh/s_293703.html

IP Bloggers at ABA TechShow

As Matt Buchanan previously mentioned…I am planning on going to the ABA TECHSHOW in March/April.  Dennis Crouch has also promised to go (he should…it’s in Chicago (he has no excuse)).
Other blawgers I’ve seen mentioned as “going” include:  Robert Ambrogi, Buzz Bruggeman, Dennis Kennedy, Ernest Svenson (Ernie the Attorney), Matt Homann, Rick Klau, Sabrina Pacifici, [...]

Tech Tip Thursday

I come across a handful of interesting tech tidbits every week…why not jump on Heller’s "Belly up to the Bar" bandwagon with my own pile o’ links?  [a second purpose is so I can find these links again...]

Stupid ‘net trick

I’ve noticed that if you go to the address bar of your browser and type in:

“patent” and hit enter…you are taken to http://www.uspto.gov
“trademark” and hit enter…you are taken to http://www.uspto.gov
“copyright” and hit enter…you are taken to http://www.copyright.gov

It apparently works in IE on my PC and FireFox on my Mac, but not on Safari (Mac’s browser).  [...]

Podcasting and state tape recording laws

Being paranoid attorneys…I doubt it would happen in a blawgcast, but one should remember that if you are creating a podcast with a guest…make sure the guest gives you permission to record the conversation.
The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press have a link to state by state breakdown of state tape recording laws:  [...]
