The next USPTO Independent Inventor on-line chat will be on Tuesday, October 19 at 2 pm (EST). The USPTO.gov site points out that
In response to some of the more complicated technical questions, we have received in the past; the format will change this month. USPTO experts will take more detailed questions for a half hour, but will not answer them until later. The answers to the questions will be posted on the USPTO website as soon as possible following the October 19 online. This new format will alternate each month with the normal interactive online that has been used in the past.
