Howard University School of Law (HUSL) and Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP have collaborated to present the Second Annual Intellectual Property Law Seminar. The one-day program will be held on the campus of HUSL at 2900 Van Ness Street, N.W., Washington, DC.  The two-track program offers introductory courses as well as advanced presentations on patent, trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property issues. Leaders in the field from business, academia, and law firms will provide insights on today’s cutting-edge issues in intellectual property law.

Program Highlights:  Case studies from major U.S. corporations; Updates and overviews of trademark, patent, and copyright case law; Practical tips and advice on how to avoid the pitfalls in patent drafting and prosecution; The litigator’s viewpoint on willful infringement; Luncheon remarks by The Honorable Richard Linn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; Nanotechnology and industry standards and Alternative disputes resolution strategies.
