Downloading patent copies

September 15, 2004 on 4:31 pm | In Patent Searching |

I’ve posted, from time to time, websites where you can perform patent searches and/or download copies of patents.  Here is the latest…

Pat2pdf.com isn’t free anymore, but check out http://www.pat2pdf.org/ which claims to be “based on the original pat2pdf script and is not affilliated with pat2pdf.com.”  Interesting…  [Via a post on the PatentPractice Yahoo group]

And via e-mail:  “I noticed your article titled “R.I.P. best FREE source of PDF patent copies” and I wanted to point out that www.freepatentsonline.com now provides free PDF downloads.  We’ve also just added search term highlighting in the full-text views (saves a lot of time!).  There are still a lot of new features that we will be adding (US Applications, EPO documents, and eventually some super-sophisticated searching abilities that will go beyond what anyone currently offers).  Stay tuned!”  Shall do.
