Boise, the “hotbed of entrepreneurship”
September 13, 2004 on 10:43 am | In Current Affairs |Via the PVR Blog (an interesting read if you have a TiVo/PVR) comes a link to a Reuters article called ”Land of Potatoes Aims to Be High-Tech Hotbed.” The article labels Boise the “hotbed of entrepreneurship,” and mentions a local company named Dedicated Devices. The article also discusses some of the tech history behind why the “Treasure Valley” is the second Silicon Valley (statistically Boise is second only to San Jose to patents per capita and Idaho is the #1 state per capita).
