TiVo has a warehouse of 3,000 “factory renewed” TiVo’s which they are clearing out (I guess they have redesigned the case…and want to get rid of the older looking ones). They are clearing these puppies out for as low as $49.00 (plus a monthly subscription fee (~$12/month)). I bought the same model almost a last year for $249. Ouch. They even have a 30 day money back guarantee…so if you don’t love it…you can send it back. Here’s the link (I imagine that these units will go fast…)

I love mine so much that I decided to pick up a second one (we had been using this duct taped together system that transmits video to your other (bedroom) TV via a phone line) for the bedroom. The funny thing is that I can sell the phone line gizmo on eBay for ~$50.
