Another site for patent searching
July 21, 2004 on 6:11 pm | In Patent Searching |What is this web site? FreePatentsOnline.com provides free access to data on millions of patents. Attorneys use this data for prosecuting or defending patent infringement lawsuits. Inventors use this data to determine if they can patent inventions. And everyone can use it just to browse all the interesting (and sometimes crazy!) ideas that are out there.Don’t other patent sites already provide such data? Yes, they do! But, they all have drawbacks. Some are very slow. Some charge fees for access. Some are not very user-friendly. We want to make this data as freely and easily accessible to everyone as possible.
They have a page of “crazy” patents too.
