USPTO Announces New Version of PAIR, Version 4.11 [pdf] PAIR provides customers with direct secure Internet access to patent application status information and general patent information publicly available.

The Oppedahl & Larson LLP website has a great explanation of what PAIR is. Also, if you use PAIR, you should really consider using Oppedahl & Larson’s PARTRIDGE PAIR tracking software.
