Superguide Corporation v. Directv Enterprises, Inc., et al.

Decided: February 12, 2004.
The district court ruled that DirecTV, Hughes, Thomson and EchoStar did not infringe. SuperGuide Corporation and Gemstar Development Corporation appealed. Federal Circuit found that the district court erred in construing certain of the claims upon which its non-infringement judgment was based. Federal Circuit affirmed-in-part and reversed-in-part the district court’s claim construction, vacated the judgment, and remanded back to the district court.
